The Start Being Your Best Podcast – Episode 2

Welcome to another episode of the SBYB podcast. In this episode, Kevin and Jason discuss distractions: what they are and how we deal with them in our lives, as well as the role technology plays in presenting and mitigating them. We also discuss whether or not they’re always a bad thing (spoiler: they’re not!). We discuss Paul Miller of the Verge and his year away from the internet. If you’re interested, you can head over there and read all about it by clicking here.

We’re still working on getting the podcast into iTunes (you can thank a technical error on Jason’s part for that not working as quickly as it should have), but for now you can listen here in your browser, or use this link to subscribe in your favorite podcast catcher of choice! Thanks again for listening, and we’d love to hear your thoughts on the episode. Leave a comment here on the blog, or head over to the Facebook page and let us know what you think!

The Inaugural SBYB Podcast Is Here

As we mentioned last week, Kevin and I have started a podcast on personal development, and we’re very happy to release the first episode today. It’s so hot and fresh that it’s not even up on iTunes yet (I’ll provide a link when it becomes available there), but for right now, you can go to podcast.startbeingyourbest.com and subscribe from there. I’m also embedding a player below, so you don’t even need to leave this page to listen!

In this episode, Kevin and I discuss our motivations for doing a podcast like this, as well as discussing some of the things we’re doing to try to maintain that elusive concept of “balance” in our lives. From work to working out to spending time with family and friends and other things we enjoy, we share some of what’s going on in our lives.

We’d love to hear what you think, what you liked and didn’t, and any suggestions you might have for future topics to cover on the show. Please leave a comment here, or on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/startbeingyourbest). We’ll look forward to hearing from you.
